“I loved every part
of the trip. The looks on the family's faces when they were given
the keys to the house were priceless. Everything has been an unforgettable
experience.”

Be an intern with Casas por Cristo
As an intern with Casas Por Cristo, you will play a vital role in
our ministry, and you will also have an experience that will change
your life! We offer a great program that allows college aged and older
people to become involved in mission work. Where else can you impact
hundreds of lives on both sides of the border in just one summer?
You'll work directly with Mexicans and Americans as you foster a partnership
that both gives a family a home and an opportunity to know the love
of Jesus in a very real, tangible way. We will provide you with a
vehicle, gas, accommodations and utilities for the entire summer.
You only have to provide money for your weekend meals and travel to
and from El Paso. Plus, at the end of the summer you will receive
a $1,000 educational scholarship.

What to expect when you are a Building Intern
You
will be a valuable asset to the Casas por Cristo team. The first four
weeks of your summer will be spent doing on-site training. After this,
you will be personally leading teams from all over the country in
the building process. You will spend each week leading a team through
Mexico, showing them the building process, and problem solving on
the jobsite. You will have the opportunity to share your testimony
with your teams as you facilitate their mission's experience, and
you will also have valuable time to witness to the people of Mexico
and your team through your actions. It's a tremendous opportunity
for physical, emotional, and spiritual growth. Read what our previous
interns had to say about the program HERE.

with whom they will be working, and the community in which they are
working. In short, you will help where help is needed and make sure
that groups have what they need to be as effective as possible. You
will spend each week making connections with groups and pastors. You
will live in El Paso, but cross into Juarez most days. Housing, transportation,
gas, and utilities will be covered, and you will receive a $1,000
scholarship at the end of the summer. This internship will be an opportunity
to make a difference in your life and the lives of so many others.
