For those volunteers who do not speak Spanish, help is available!
Casas por Cristo has partnered with Unforgettablelanguages.com to bring you an exciting and rapid way to learn Spanish, as well as many other languages. Unforgettablelanguages.com features the Linkword Language Courses, developed by Michael Gruneberg, PhD, an expert in memory and cognition. Instantly-downloadable “survival guides” and more extensive CD-ROM courses are available. This learning method uses fun memory association techniques that can teach up to 100 words per hour with excellent retention.

The staff at Casas por Cristo uses these courses and enjoys them greatly!

One of the partners at Unforgettablelanguages.com is a volunteer with Casas por Cristo and is a language enthusiast. As part of the partnership, Unforgettablelanguages.com will donate 20% of all gross sales directly to Casas por Cristo to help our mission. The donation will apply to any sales generated through the following address:

www.unforgettablelanguages.com/cpc.html

So, please visit the site and invite friends and family to do the same!
In order to honor copyright laws, we ask that each person purchase their own courses. However, cooperative study is encouraged.

Do not forget to include “cpc.html” when typing in the web address and in front of your name when ordering so that Casas por Cristo will get the credit & your support!

The traditional way
to learn Spanish:
Our Linkword way
to learn Spanish:
“The Spanish word for WAITRESS is CAMARERA
[pronounced KAMARERA]……”

Learning method: REPETITION

Repeat it over and over until you remember it!
For example;
Camarera, camarera, camarera, camarera,

Typical results:
You begin forgetting words after only learning a handful using the traditional ‘learn by repetition’ method.

Learning method: ASSOCIATION

Associate the SOUND of the Spanish word to an image that will remind you of its MEANING.

For example:
Imagine a waitress with a camera around her neck.
Now just try to forget that word.
We bet you can’t!

Typical results:
You learn about 200-300 words learned/hour with 95% retention.
